Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is going to arrive with Kirin 980 SoC and fast charging

Huawei is about up to launch its upcoming Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on October 16 at an event in London. The Company has started sending the invites for the event. Huawei is teasing the device and revealing some of the features of the smartphones. According to the latest teaser, the Mate 20 will come with 7nm Kirin processor and AI features.

Mate 20 Pro is expected to come with Triple rear camera sensor. Both the phones will be powered by Kirin 980 processor. According to Huawei, the 7nm process delivers 178% more power efficient GPU, 46% more speed and a total of 37% boost in overall performance.

The teaser says, A higher intelligence is coming, that translates that Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro might come with several AI features mainly in the camera and U.I.

Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is expected to come with a notch design and runs on Android Pie based EMUI 9.0 out of the box. Huawei Mate 20 Pro will come with an in display fingerprint sensor and the Mate 20 will house the traditional fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.

The Mate 20 is expected to be fueled by a 4,200 mAh battery and the Mate 20 Pro is going to pack 4000 mAh battery. Both the phones will also get a glass back to support wireless charging. Huawei may also launch a 15W wireless and 40W wired charger at the event to match Oppos VOOC fast charging technology.

For the price and other specs, We still have to wait until the smartphones get official on October 16 event.
