Huawei P20 Lite Camera Reviews - Bringing some Real Definition

Smartphones have replaced the digital cameras and became a necessity of life. We use camera more than ever because now it remains in our pocket everytime. We can capture any memorable or fun moments with it as photographs are also the essence of our social media platforms.

Huawei has a reputation for making mid range and high end smartphones with amazing cameras. It's latest, Huawei P20 Lite, doesnt disappoint either.

The phone boasts a very good camera, eye catching design, long lasting battery life and powerful performance with a budget friendly price tag that puts it among the top in it's kind.

Huawei has equipped the P20 Lite with a dual camera setup with a single LED Flash. The main 16MP lens with f/2.2 aperture is backed by a secondary 2MP snapper, this time with f/2.4 aperture. The idea behind second lens is to give a depth of focus to your shots largely for the included wide aperture mode. This allows you to capture a crisp image of your subject, while the background is blurred out. The results can be really impressive. The phone is capable of 1080p video recording.

The main menu houses all the available shooting modes Photo, Night Shot, HDR, Panorama, Pro, Beauty, Light Painting, among others. The Huawei camera app offers a Manual Pro mode, with manual focus, shutter speed, ISO, and a few other options. The Pro camera interface is very easy to use.

The selfie camera on the Huawei P20 Lite has a 24MP selfie cam, also behind f/2.0 lens which comes with a 3D retouching feature called 3D Portrait Lightning which combines intelligent scene recognition and facial mapping to tweak illumination values for better low light shots.

The Portrait Mode on the front shooter simulates bokeh alright, while it can also apply beautification effects on your face. The algorithm does a mostly perfect job at recognizing your face and blurring the background.

All in all the phone for its price has packed a very amazing camera, despite it is a mid ranger in terms of price but it has got a camera nothing less than a high end device.

That's it for now, Techin will bring more in detail reviews of other camera phones. Stay connected!
