Samsung Galaxy Fold Official Launch Delayed Once Again

Samsung announced a month ago that they would postpone the launch of the Galaxy Fold after some reviewers noticed major flaws and issues with the display and its folding mechanism. Recently Samsung informed the buyers from US who preordered the foldable phone that they will have the option of canceling their orders if the phone is not delivered until May 31st.

Samsung hoped to get the Galaxy Fold to hit the store shelves in June, but now it seems that Korean technology giant might be forced to push back its launch to July or even later. Samsung employee said in an interview that the company is still working on the launch schedule and would announce an official launch date within the coming few weeks.

Industry insiders claims that Samsung is taking more time to fix the flaws. Galaxy Fold turned out to be a huge PR disaster for Samsung, but the company still managed to prevent a huge embarrassment by pushing back its official launch of the device with faulty displays.

Samsung has been testing the Galaxy Fold to ensure it works properly with a revamped design. The Korean Tech giant wants to make sure everything is working right before announcing any official launch date. It seems like potential buyers have to wait more than a month in order get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
