Xiaomi, the renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturer yesterday launched the flagship phone Poco F1 from its new sub brand Poco starting at $300 (Approx Rs. 36,000 in Pakistan).
Poco F1 features a 6.18 inch full HD+ 2246×1080 notch display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass display, 84 percent NTSC color gamut and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is one of the most affordable smartphone powered by Qualcomm 2.8Ghz Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.
Poco F1 will come with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and will have 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of internal storage variants that can be expanded up to 256GB via MicroSD card slot.
In camera department, Poco F1 features a 12 megapixel rear camera sensor with Sony IMX363 sensor and a secondary 5 megapixel camera with Samsung sensor at the back with Dual Pixel technology, HDR, and real time AI photography. While on the front, there is a 20 megapixel camera.
The Poco F1 also features a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. For security there is a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and infrared face unlock for security, which the company claims can even work in the dark.
It runs on customized MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo, which is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie. The phone will be available in three colors, Graphite Black, Rosso Red, and Steel Blue.
