Samsung Galaxy S10 will reportedly feature 5G enabled next generation chipset

Qualcomm has confirmed its next generation flagship chipset, giving us the first confirmation of specifications that will find their way to the Samsung Galaxy S10.

Qualcomms new chipset will be built on a 7nm process node, which allows it to run faster and cooler while delivering a better AI performance and battery life and supports download speeds of 5Gbps.

Samsung and Qualcomm in recent years have partnered on the development of new flagship processors for high end smartphones. Samsungs Galaxy S series has always been the first to bring the latest premium chipset offerings by Snapdragon, so it will not be surprising to see the upcoming 10th anniversary Galaxy S device to boast the latest offering by the chipset maker.

In addition to more power on less silicon, the Snapdragon 855 will be capable of being paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G modem. If Samsung opts for that which it's expected to do the Galaxy S10 would also be the first smartphone from the company to ship with 5G connectivity.

In other words, the Galaxy S10 is going to be really, really, powerful. And if you have the luxury of a 5G network in your area, its Internet speeds could be blazing.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 lineup in black, white, green, silver, and pink color variants.
