Honor is the sub brand of Huawei. It has today quietly announced its newest high end mid range smartphone, the Honor 10i in Russia. The company has not revealed the pricing or availability of the device, it is listed as ‘coming soon’ on Honor Russia’s official website. The device is very much similar to Huawei Nova 4 in terms of specifications.
The Honor 10i features a 6.21 inch full HD+ display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution, it has a small cut out on upper edge of the screen to place the front camera.
The smartphone is powered by Kirin 710 chipset, which is accompanied by GPU Turbo technology 2.0 to boost the performance. Honor ships the handset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB built in storage.
In terms of optics, the triple rear cameras comprise a 24MP f/1.8 shooter, an 8MP f/2.4 lens and a 2MP f/2.4 sensor. The camera module is paired with LED flash and Honor’s AI features. The 32MP selfie shooter also comes with AI and facial recognition.
Honor 10i runs Android 9.0 Pie with company’s own EMUI 9.0.1 skin on top. The phone is fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery. The device will arrive in three colour options including Red, Blue and Black. The Red and Blue colour options will come with a 3D gradient finish on the back, whereas, the Black colour variant will not have any gradient finish.
