Xiaomi has announced the company’s latest gaming smartphone, packed with an in screen pressure sensor and customisable controls. Black Shark 2 is an improvement to Xiaomi’s original gaming phone with even more powerful specifications, as well as high end hardware components.
Black Shark 2’s real highlight is its screen which is a 6.39 inch OLED display with Full HD+ 2,340 x 1,080 resolution. It has an in display fingerprint sensor made by Samsung. Xiaomi has added a pressure sensitive system to whole display that enables user to map the buttons located on the corners of the screen. Users can trigger them by pressing harder on that part of the screen.
Black Shark 2 is powered by the new Snapdragon 855 processor. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the base model offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, it costs CNY 3,200 (Approx Rs. 66,000 in PKR).
In terms of camera, Black Shark 2 comes with a 48MP + 12MP dual camera setup on the back and a single 20MP camera on the front for selfies. The phone is fuelled by a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging.
