Huawei has announced two new Honor phones today, the Honor 8X and 8X Max, and both of them are huge.
The new Honor 8X looks to continue that emphasis on the screen. The new phone will offer a 6.5 inch screen surrounded by thin bezels. The bezel at the bottom of the display is just 4.25mm, giving the 8X a screen to body ratio of 91%.
The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 with Mali G51 MP4 GPU, and comes in Two RAM variants, 4GB and 6GB with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

In the camera department Honor 8X has got 20MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, while on front there is a 16MP selfie shooter with AI beautify feature.
3,750 mAh battery keeps the phone on the go. The phone runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo. It will come in Black, Blue, Red and Purple color options.
The phone will go on sale starting September 11th in China. There will be a global launch of the phone next month.
While the Honor 8X Max has a 7.12 inch display with a waterdrop notch. It seems more like a tablet than a smartphone due to its huge screen size.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset instead of the Kirin 710. In terms of memory the phone comes in two options, 4GB and 6GB of RAM with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

Honor 8X MAX has got a dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera setup with LED flash. And an 8MP front camera for selfies.
It has got a huge 5000 mAH battery, and runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo 8.1. The phone will be available in three color options Black, Blue and Red.
There is no information on a global release of 8X Max.
