Huawei and Honor have certainly not slowed down when it comes to launching new phones in 2018. Honor a subsidiary of Huawei has recently launched the Honor Play. Its the cheapest Honor phone to be powered by the high end HiSilicon Kirin 970.
The Honor Play aims to be an affordable gaming focused smartphone as it features Huaweis much hyped GPU Turbo feature. The Honor Play comes in two memory variants 4GB as well as 6GB RAM while the internal storage on both variants is the same 64GB. It sports a large 6.3 inch Full HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and yes, following the latest design trends theres a notch on top of the device.
The phone has an all metal unibody design and features 4D gaming with intelligent game vibrations. The phone comes with a dual camera setup on the rear 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with support for 4k video recording. It has an AI intelligent photography mode that can detect 22 object categories in more than 500 scenarios. On front there is a 16MP selfie shooter with f2.0 aperture and 3D portrait lighting. It comes with Honors four in one light fusion technology for better low light photos.
The Honor Play is a performance focused phone and comes with the companys top of the line Kirin 970 octa core processor. There is a large 3,750mAh battery with support for fast charging. Honor Play comes with Android 8.1 out of the box with features like AI camera, AI gallery, 3D game audio, Game suite, Face unlock and GPU Turbo.
As far as the price is concerned Honor Play comes with a price tag of Approx Rs 35,000 in Pakistan for 4GB version and around Rs 42,000 for 6GB variant. The phone will come in two colours Midnight Black and Navy Blue.
