Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro are being officially launched in China on 26th of November. Before the formal launch, the sub brand of Huawei has confirmed that smartphones will be powered by Kirin 990 SoC and will support 5G connectivity. The key specifications of the smartphone has also been surfaced online ahead of official launch.
Both the smartphones are going to sport a 6.57 inches IPS display with Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 91.46% screen to body ratio. Honor V30 and V30 Pro will feature a 40MP Sony IMX600 primary sensor, and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a telephoto lens, while the Honor V30 will feature an 8MPl tertiary sensor with a wide-angle lens, and the Honor V30 Pro will include a 12MP sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
In terms of memory, both the devices will offer two variants, the Honor V30 will come in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options while the Honor V30 Pro will offer 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations. Both the smartphones are going to have liquid cooling technology and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
The smartphones will come with 40W wired fast charging support. The Honor V30 will be fuelled by a 4,200mAh battery while Honor V30 Pro will get a 4,100mAh battery. The latter will also support 27W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse charging. The benchmark listing of the smartphones suggests that they will run Android 10 out of the box. The Honor V30 and V30 Pro models are going to come in Icelandic Fantasy, Magic Night Star River, Charm Star Blue, and Twilight Orange color options.
