Huawei P Smart Z with Pop Up Selfie Camera and 4,000mAh battery officially announced

The Huawei P30 came with a notch, the Huawei Nova 4 houses a punch-hole camera, and now the newly announced Huawei P Smart Z is the company’s first phone that will come equipped with a pop-up sliding selfie camera.

The Huawei P Smart Z features a large 6.59 inch LCD display with Full HD+ 2,340 x 1,080 resolution. The screen is without any notch or bezels due to P Smart Z’s pop up mechanism which houses the front camera. It can withstand up to 12kg of pressure and still works after 100,000 cycles.

The Huawei P Smart Z is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710F processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via external microSD card. The device is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery and runs on Android 9 Pie.

In terms of photography, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup on the back which comprises of 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary depth sensor. There is a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies, housed inside a sliding mechanism. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back of the device.

The phone measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.8mm and weighs 196.8 grams. It will be available in blue, green, and black color options with a price tag of 279 euros (Approx Rs. 44,000 in Pakistan).
