In three events held simultaneously in New York, London and Bengaluru, OnePlus has announced the new OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus 7 is a hardware upgrade of OnePlus 6T while the OnePlus 7 Pro brings several new features and ups the game by offering a top of the line flagship device.
The OnePlus 7 comes with a flat 6.41 inch Optic AMOLED display with 1080p+ resolution and a teardrop notch. It houses an in display fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by Snapdragon 855 and is available in 128GB and 256GB storage capacities coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM respectively.
The OnePlus 7 features a dual camera on the back that includes 48MP sensor coupled with a depth sensor. On the front it features a 16MP camera placed inside the notch. The battery that fuels the device has 3,700mAh capacity and 20W power. The OnePlus 7 will be available in Mirror Gray and Red color options.
Coming to the Pro variant, OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a massive 6.7 inch Fluid AMOLED Quad HD+ display. The device has a resolution of 3120 × 1440 and a 93% screen-to-body ratio. It offers edged sides like the Samsung Galaxy S10. The company has also added a feature called “Horizon Line ” which will light up the edge of the device when a notification comes.
The device also comes with a pop-up selfie camera on the front and a triple camera set up at the back. The device has a 48 MP main camera with OIS along with a 16MP wide angle lens, moreover, the device has an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom and OIS. While on the front it features a 16MP camera placed inside the sliding mechanism.
OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855 coupled with up to 12 GB of RAM. It has a RAM Boost feature to improve the app loading. The OnePlus 7 Pro will also be the first device in the world to support UFS 3.0 and will have Liquid Cooling to cool the device down. OnePlus 7 Pro comes with 4,000 mAh and will support Warp charge. The OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in Mirror Gray, Almond, and Nebula Blue color options.
