Huawei has announced its second Android Go smartphone called the Huawei Y5 Lite. The first Android Go smartphone from Huawei was Y3 which was launched in May last year. The new Huawei Y5 Lite is an entry level budget friendly Android Go smartphone.
The Huawei Y5 Lite has a 5.45 inch IPS LCD display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution, while in the photography department it has got a 8MP f/2.0 PDAF rear camera along with an LED flash and a 5MP f/2.2 fixed focus selfie camera.
The Huawei Y5 Lite measures 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3mm, and it weighs 142 grams. It is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT6739 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable via an external microSD card.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and is fueled by a 3,020mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in Blue and Black colour options with a price tag of PKR 16,500. The phone is currently exclusive to the Pakistani market and seems to be a nice entrant in the budget smartphone category.
