Sony uses the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) tech platform to announce new smartphones. This year Sony will be present at the CES 2019 event on January 7th. According to reports, company will announce the Xperia XA3, Xperia XA3 Ultra and Xperia L3 smartphones.
The Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones will reportedly run on Android 9 Pie out of the box and feature a side mounted fingerprint scanner, while the phones will boast a dual camera setup on the back.
The Sony Xperia XA3 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. It will also include 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will sport a 5.9 inch 1080 x 2160 pixels screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. While the Xperia XA3 Ultra will feature a 6.5 inch 1080 x 2160 pixels display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The FCC listing of the Xperia L3 has revealed that the phone will come with a 5.7 inch HD+ 720 x1 440 display with 18:9 aspect ratio. According to reports the the Xperia L3 will sport 3,400mAh battery and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.
It will also reportedly come with a dual camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. There will be a side mounted fingerprint sensor present on the phone.
CES 2019 will officially start on January 8th and will end on January 11th, however the press events will start as early as 6th of January.
