Lenovo Z5 Pro with sliding screen and in display fingerprint scanner officially revealed

After launching the Lenovo Z5 smartphone in China, Lenovo has been teasing about the Lenovo Z5 Pro. At the Lenovo Tech World event in Beijing, the company has showcased the Lenovo Z5 Pro without mentioning any details.

According to Executive Vice President of Lenovo Liu Jun, a new generation smartphone is going to launch soon that will be sporting a sliding mechanism. The Lenovo 5 Pro will also be the companys first smartphone to feature an in display fingerprint sensor.

The upcoming Lenovo Z5 Pro will come with a complete bezel less display without a notch. The Lenovo Z5 Pro is expected to sport a large 6.5 inch OLED screen. The slider on the top will sport the front facing camera.

The hardware specifications of the smartphone include a Snapdragon 845. That will include a minimum of 6GB RAM + 64GB of internal storage, while the top variant model could sport 8GB of RAM combined with 256GB of internal memory.

There is expected to be a dual camera with a 20MP + 16MP module at the back of the phone. While the front snapper of the smartphone is yet to be confirmed.

A large 4000 mAh battery will keep phone on the go. The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with the highly customized ZUI skin laid on top.
