LG officially announced V40 ThinQ with five cameras and silky matte finish glass

LG's Korean YouTube channel and press site released a video and a press release on Thursday teasing the LG V40 ThinQ, an smartphone that comes with a total of five cameras.

The LG V40 ThinQ will have a triple camera system on the rear, but a specific scene in the video suggests there will be a total of five cameras that suggests a dual front camera setup. Though, LG hasn't revealed their specs.

The announcement confirms that the device will have a slightly larger 6.4 inch screen and will be available in red, blue and gray. A rear mounted fingerprint scanner can also be seen in the teaser trailer.

The phone has a slim and light design that is just as wide as last year's V30 but has a smaller bezel, focused on the feel of its reinforced glass frame. LG claims it combines to make a phone that's easier and more comfortable to use with one hand.

Reports suggest that the handset will include a Snapdragon 845, a Quad DAC and a dedicated button to activate Google Assistant. But well have to wait until the phones official launch on October 3 for the confirmation.
