Lenovo is about to launch its first smartphone with a pinhole selfie camera, the Lenovo Z5s, on December 18th. Lenovo has posted four teasers on Chinese social media website of the upcoming smartphone. The teasers reveal that the Z5s will come with more than 8GB RAM, likely to be 10GB and will be a gaming centric device with dual personal assistants. The previously shared poster also suggested that the Lenovo Z5s will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC.
A separate teaser poster claims the smartphone will come with two digital assistants onboard. In terms of other known specs, On the front the Z5s has a 6.3 inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with pinhole camera, while on the inside a 3,210mAh battery will be providing power to the device. The rear a fingerprint scanner is going to be placed on the back. The Z5s will be running Android 9 Pie out of the box.
There will be more than single variants of the phone. Alongside the standard variant, a Zhu Yi Long Special Edition of Lenovo Z5s will also be announced at the same time. The special edition of the smartphone may pack more RAM and internal storage. The company has already sent invitations for the launch event which is scheduled to happen in December 18 in China.
