Honor has unveiled the first details of its next display centric smartphone, Honor View 20 in Hong Kong. Honor View 20 will be making the global debut on January 22nd in Paris, but it will first launch in China as Honor V20 on December 26th.
The successor to the View 10 takes the screen to body ratios to new heights, with a new no notch design similar to Samsung's Infinity O. It will come with a very thin chin and a 4.5mm hole for the front facing camera on upper left side of the display.
The Honor View 20 will also debut the worlds first 48MP camera on a smartphone at the back of the phone. While the front camera specs are yet to be disclosed. In addition, the handset will be powered by the Kirin 980, the same processor that also powers the Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20. The company also introduced the new LinkTurbo technology that will bridge both the LTE and Wi Fi connections.
