Much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 9 announced, let's have a look what this flagship has to offer

Samsung has just announced the release of its latest Note handset, The Galaxy Note 9 features one of the biggest screens and internal storage sizes on the market, along with one of the highest price tags to match its high end specs.

There will be two versions of the device one with 128GB internal storage and one with 512GB storage. The smaller storage option starts at $1000 (more than Rs. 120,000 in Pakistan) while the larger one has a $1,250 (more than Rs. 150,000 in Pakistan) price tag.

The Note 9 comes with a 6.4 inch HD+ Super Amoled screen, one of the biggest on the market, The phones body is slightly thicker at 9mm and heavier at 205g.

The Note 9 has an all day battery at 4,000mAh. That's the largest battery Samsung has offered in any smartphone.

The Note 9 will have Samsungs octa core Samsung Exynos 9810 processor in UK or an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in the US, with a choice of either 6 or 8GB of RAM, depending on storage variant.

The intelligent camera includes Flaw Detection and also has a neural network on the Note 9 to recognize context and settings and adjust for scenes. The front facing camera is 8MP and the dual rear cameras are 12MP each.

Below the camera is a repositioned fingerprint scanner which, like the Galaxy S9+, is now lower down the back and therefore should make it a lot easier to use.

The S Pen gets Bluetooth low energy (BLE) so it can function as a remote control within 10 meters. The S Pen charges when you put it into your smartphone and the battery charges fully in less than 40 seconds. BLE enables the S Pen to control the camera by default and other applications based on your preference.

The Note 9 will also be one of the first Android devices to be able to run Epics hugely popular multiplayer first person shooter Fortnite, with exclusive access to the beta of the game for a limited period.

The Note 9 will also be able to use Samsungs Android on a desktop mode called DeX. Available colors for the phone includes Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper and Midnight Black.

The Note 9 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo and the same user experience as Samsungs last several phones. Pre orders for the phone start today and will ship on 24th of August.

Samsung has also launched an updated smartwatch, called the Galaxy Watch, and a smart speaker called the Galaxy Home powered by the companys own Bixby voice assistant.
