Today Xiaomi brings its flagship smartphone Mi 8 and Mi Band 3, a popular all rounder fitness tracker in Pakistan.
Let's get into the specs, features and prices of both the devices:
Xiaomi Mi 8
Xiaomi Mi 8 is a flagship smartphone. Its got a 6.21 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display up front thats flanked by slim bezels and has a notch in it. Inside, its got a top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 flagship processor and a 3,400 mAh battery keeping everything running. The phone supports Qualcomms Quick Charge 4+ fast charging. The phone itself is a glass and metal unit that looks fairly similar to an iPhone. Mostly, that similarity is down to its vertical camera module that houses the Mi 8s dual 12MP sensors. The main sensor has large 1.4 micron pixels and an f/1.8 aperture lens with 4 axis optical image stabilisation. The secondary sensor comes equipped with an f/2.4 aperture short telephoto lens that enables depth effects and optical zooming. As usual, the cameras support AI scene recognition and various lighting effects too.
Meanwhile, youll find the Mi 8s 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture lens in front, tucked into the notch. But its not the only thing there as Xiaomis also equipped the Mi 8 with an array of infrared scanners that enables face unlock. Of course, there is a fingerprint scanner at the back too.
Its also the worlds first phone to feature Dual frequency GPS. It will be available in Pakistan for Rs. 64,999 for the base model.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3
The Mi Band 3 is equipped with a 0.78 inch OLED display with a resolution of 128×80 pixels. The band is designed using a combination of plastic and alloy. The case and band materials are manufactured using TPEE and TPSIV. The Band 3 is powered by a 110mAh battery, which is capable of delivering a standby time of about 20 days. You just need to charge two hours to work with the band for several days. The Band 3 provides support for sleep tracking and also includes a dedicated heart rate monitor and pedometer. It is possible to fetch the results from the band via the Mi Fit app. The band is resistant to water up to 5ATM and hence you can dip in the water.
