HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia X71 today along with the flagship Nokia 9 PureView in Taiwan. The device is the first Nokia branded smartphone with a punch hole display. It is also the first mid range handset from Nokia to include an in display fingerprint scanner.
The Nokia X71 features a 6.39 inch Full HD LCD with 19.3:9 aspect ratio, it has punch hole camera placed on the top left corner, that looks similar to other punch hole LCD phones from Huawei and Samsung.
Nokia X71 is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM it comes with 128GB of microSD expandable storage. On the software side, it comes loaded with Android One form of Android 9.0 Pie.
In terms of camera, on the back lies the Zeiss branded triple camera setup with 48MP main sensor, 8MP wide angle lens, and 5MP depth sensing units. While on the front their sits a 16MP camera for selfies.
It has a 3,500mAh battery that can be fueled up with the 18W fast charger which is included in the box. Nokia X71 will be available in just a single color option for now that is black. Official sales of the smartphone will start from April 30th.
