South Korean giant Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy S10 5G smartphone will be available for consumers in South Korea from 5th of April. The device will be available in Majestic Black, Royal Gold and Crown Silver color options. It will be available to purchase in other markets later this year.
As Samsung states in its official press release, the 5G commercial network in Korea has been active by carriers since December 2018, that means the early Galaxy S10 5G buyers will be able to experience the 5 gigabit speeds of the new technology right after purchase.
The Galaxy S10+ 5G boasts a 6.7 inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie. The device packs 8GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants, 256GB and 512GB.
For photography, it features a 12MP PDAF telephoto lens with F2.4 aperture along with 12MP Super Speed Dual Pixel AF wide angle lens and 16MP ultra wide lens with F1.5/F2.4 and F2.2 aperture. While on the front, It features a 10MP dual pixel AF camera for selfies.
The smartphone is backed by 4500mAh battery capacity with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 technology. It supports NFC payment as well. For security, the device has both biometric lock types including face unlock and under display fingerprint scanner.
