OnePlus 6T will be officially unveiled on 30th of October in New York but will be up for sale from 6th of November. Official renders of the device has not been released by the company yet.
The OnePlus 6T is expected to include some radical upgrades over the current OnePlus 6 with the Chinese firm already revealing its flagship will feature an embedded fingerprint scanner in the screen.
OnePlus is just the latest company to offer an in display fingerprint scanner following Vivo, Xiaomi, and Huawei. OnePlus 6T will also not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The 6T is also expected to see a dramatic reduction in the size of the display notch compared to the OnePlus 6. The size of the water drop shaped notch only leaves enough space for a front facing camera, but should maximise the phones screen to body ratio.
While not confirmed, we expect the OnePlus 6T to launch with Android Pie because OnePlus has confirmed that it will start rolling out the Android 9 Pie update to OnePlus 6 owners in the UK from October 10.
OnePlus will likely release more information about the new handset between now and the launch event so stay connected with Techin.
