OPPO unveils the much anticipated “Reno” series with unique Pop Up selfie camera

OPPO unveiled its most talked about Reno series at a global launch event held in UAE. The Reno series is the Chinese tech giant OPPO’s latest premium smartphone range that attempts to offer an unusual solution to the notch. It has a unique selfie pop up camera that looks like a shark fin and slides up like a wedge from the top.

The Reno series currently offers two new smartphones: OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition and the Reno Edition. Both are stunningly designed, with notch free full view OLED displays, a side swing pop-up selfie camera, and powerful hardware capabilities.

The Reno 10x Zoom and Reno Edition will sport 6.6 inch and 6.4 inch FHD+ OLED displays respectively. Both will have the most talked about feature about Reno, a 16 MP f/2.0 pop-up side-swing selfie camera placed on top. In display fingerprint sensor will also be present in both the devices.

The Reno Edition is powered by Snapdragon 710 under the hood coupled with 6GB RAM and a 3,765 mAh battery capacity. While the flagship 10x Zoom model will powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and a large 4,065 mAh battery capacity.

In terms of camera, The main sensor in Reno edition is a 48MP lens that can capture 4K video coupled with a 5MP telephoto lens for bokeh effects. While the 10x Zoom edition boasts three cameras on the back consists of the main 48MP main sensor capable of shooting 4K video with a 13MP telephoto lens and a 10x hybrid zoom for super close-up shots.
