Samsung Galaxy A8S renders appears online, shows an infinity-O display

So far, it was believed that the Galaxy S10 series would be the first Samsung phone to launch with an Infinity-O display, but it seems like the Samsung Galaxy A8s could be launched before the Galaxy S10 series.

A glimpse of the Galaxy A8s was seen, and the phone bears an almost bezel less display. This was without any notches, sliders or pop up cameras. It was later revealed that this is the new Infinity O display by Samsung and it features a camera cut out.

From what we can see in the concept renders, the device has extremely slim bezels on the sides of the phone and a slightly thicker bezel at the bottom. The camera is located on the top left side of the phone, peeking out through a tiny O shape on the screen itself. The slim bezels combined with the Infinity-O display gives the phone a very large screen to body ratio.

According to the rumors, the Galaxy A8s will have a triple camera on the back as seen in the renders, although the specifications of it are still unclear. The back is speculated to be made of glass, which may allow it to utilize wireless charging as well as give the smartphone a premium look and feel. It looks likely that the fingerprint scanner will also be on the back of the phone.

Galaxy A8s will probably house a Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM. However, all will be known as we get closer to the launch of the Galaxy A8s, which is reported to be in January 2019.
