Recently in DxOMARK camera ranking Huawei claims its P30 Pro defeated Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ in order to receive the status of the highest rated camera in a smartphone with a score of 112. But Samsung does not seems satisfied with this result.
Samsung published a poster through its Weibo channel which shows the DxOMark scores of the Samsung Galaxy S10+ for the main camera and the front facing shooter. DxOMARK is a camera benchmarking website that scientifically tests the ability of a smartphone camera.
The P30 Pro has got points of 112 for rear camera 89 for the front camera. Whilte the Samsung Galaxy S10+ has got 109 points for the back camera and 96 points for the front camera. So the total score of Galaxy S10+ is great than that of P30 Pro.
The Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10+ have a different approach to smartphone photography. The Galaxy S10+ uses the same main sensor as seen in the Galaxy S9, but Samsung did improve the final result with software upgrade, while an ultra wide angle lens has also been added.
The Huawei P30 Pro, on the other hand, improves upon what the Mate 20 Pro had to offer, its 40 megapixel sensor comes with an f/1.6 aperture lens, compared to an f/1.8 on the Mate 20 Pro, the P30 Pro offers a periscope camera technology which gives the phone more zoom capabilities.
