Vivo has become a pioneer of different camera setups that allows more display real estate. It has killed the notch with pop up selfie camera and other innovative designs. Now Vivo is coming up with an entirely new feature. It is going to incorporate a detachable camera module.
The detachable camera technology aims to give users a large and true infinity display. Leaked renders suggests the module will probably hold a triple camera setup. The camera module will be attached to a specific slot at the back of the phone that can be removed when not needed.
According to reports, the camera will be attracted to a magnet inside the chassis that will allow it to attach to the front screen for selfies. Since a magnet is used to attach and detach the module to the device, it will be possible to attach the camera onto metal surfaces as well, that will allow the user more freedom and creativity while taking photos.
No other tech specs and features of Vivo NEX 2 has been mentioned officially. Rumors suggests that the device may be unveiled in 2 different variants with one using a Snapdragon 7xx chip and the other will be powered by the Snapdragon 855.
