Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi K20 series that comprises of a standard K20 model and the K20 Pro. It is the first flagship device under the Redmi sub brand. The K20 series smartphones were unveiled in China along with the entry level Redmi 7A and the RedmiBook 14.
Both the smartphones, Redmi K20 and K20 Pro sport a 6.39 inch AMOLED display with support an in display fingerprint sensor. The K20 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 855, it is the most affordable device that features Snapdragon 855 chipset with an octa core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.
Redmi K20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 618 as the GPU. Both the devices feature the Game Turbo 2.0 for an improved gaming experience.
In photography department, both the phones boast a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main sensor from Sony, 13MP ultra wide angle shooter, and an 8MP telephoto camera. While both the phones has 20MP front shooter housed inside a pop up mechanism.
Both phones pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging for the K20 Pro and 18W fast charging support for the K20. Both devices will go on sale from 1st of june, with pre orders starting off today.
