Xiaomi is all set to enter the automobile industry by launching its Redmi SUV

Xiaomi no longer remains just a smartphone manufacturer, The company has now expanded its product portfolio by entering the automobile market and is ready to introduce its first car called Redmi SUV.

The Chinese consumer electronics company had earlier announced that it is planning to extend its product range. Then Xiaomi revealed on Weibo that it has signed an agreement with Bestune to introduce a customized Redmi branded Bestune T77 SUV.

While not much is known about the customized version of the car but it promises to feature some top of the line features. It is reported that the pricing of this SUV will start at 89,000 Yuan (Around Rs. 1,880,000 in PKR). Bestune T77 is expected to be made available in 6 variants while the top of the line variant will cost around 134,000 Yuan (Approx Rs. 2,830,000 in PKR).

The Bestune T77 SUV was first introduced to at the Beijing Auto Show last April as Bestern T Concept and the production model was announced at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November last year. The Bestune T77 SUV equips a 1.2L Turbocharged Engine with a 6 speed MT Gearbox.

The SUV boasts muscular and aggressive looks from the front with a pair of LED headlamps. The vehicle is manufactured keeping in mind the aerodynamic efficiency. After the car, Xiaomi 150CC motorbike will be launched soon.
