Apple makes some breakthrough physical changes in it's star product iPhones every few years. There came a 30 pin connector for charging in iPhones till the iPhone 5, then it was replaced by a lightning port. In iPhone 7, Apple removed the 3.5mm headphone jack and forced the users to switch to wireless earbuds. With iPhone X, Apple removed the physical fingerprint scanner too and left the users with no choice except using a sophisticated 3D facial recognition system known as Face ID.
Now, a renowned Tech analyst Ming Chi Kuo has got his hands on an Apple research note that predict Apple's next two years of iPhones. The detail that emerged before him states that Apple will kill the Lightning Port in 2021 iPhone, no it won't be switching to USB Type-C, rather it will be replaced by a completely wireless charging system. The Apple insider confirms that next year's iPhone 12 lineup will be the last iPhones to come with ports.
Apple is reportedly all geared up to launch five iPhone models in 2020. Ming Chi Kuo research note claims that the 2020 iPhone lineup will consist of: ● iPhone SE 2, the successor of iPhone SE that will arrive with a 4.7 inch LCD display and a single rear camera.
● IPhone 12 Pro, a 5G ready smartphone that will replace iPhone 11 Pro with a 6.1 inch OLED display and Triple rear camera setup. ● iPhone 12 Pro Max, with the same internals as the iPhone 12 Pro but a bigger 6.7 inch display. ● iPhone 12 Plus, the successor to iPhone 11 with dual rear camera setup, an OLED display and 5G support. ● iPhone 12, same in specifications as iPhone 12 Plus but with a smaller 5.4 inch display to cater users who prefers pocket size smartphones.
