Earlier this month, WhatsApp users on both iOS and Android platform started to get the new feature of Stickers in the chats. Stickers are animated graphics, that are based on various themes, moods and other categories. WhatsApp stickers was a feature that was expected to come much earlier since a few other messaging applications had already introduced the stickers.
Soon after the launch of stickers feature, the App Store and Google Play Store were flooded with WhatsApp Sticker apps. But now It seems WhatsApp Stickers app idea was too much of a good thing, at least for Apple. Apple is deleting all WhatsApp Stickers apps from the App Store.
Apples reason for this sweeping drive are that, There are too many apps with a similar function, apps which only function through another app, which is not allowed, and apps having an identical design to the other cookie cutter apps.
So if you still want to use WhatsApp stickers you will have to use the ones that are provided through Facebook. Because If you are looking for other sticker packs, third party apps will not be allowed for iOS. It seems like WhatsApp will also need some design change which does not permit any third party app for stickers in the first place.
