First Renders of New iPad Pro Surfaces Online: Shows a Triple Rear Camera Setup

A renowned Apple leaker and tipster, Ming-Chi Kuo reported last month that Apple is going to release an update iPad Pro in the first half of 2020. He stated that the next iPad Pro could come with 3D sensing technology made possible with the help of a new camera system employing a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. The new renders of the tablets confirms the claim of Kuo.

The first renders of iPad Pro 2020 has been published online by OnLeaks and iGeekbsBlog, renowned for their accurate CAD based render leaks. The iPad Pro 2020 models can be seen sporting a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash housed inside a square shaped module that looks similar to what we have seen on the iPhone 11 Pro series.

According to OnLeaks, the new iPad Pro will be launched in two different sizes to cater a large amount of users who prefers different sizes. One will arrive with an 11 inch display and the bigger version will feature a 12.9 inches display. The 11 inch model is expected to be 248 x 178.6 x 5.9mm in dimensions with the camera bump that adds an additional 1.9mm. While the dimensions of the 12.9 inch model were not shared.

The leak suggests that the 12.9 inch iPad Pro will have a glass back while the 11 inch one will still get the aluminum back. Under the hood, it is expected to feature A13 bionic chipset while the camera configurations will be on par with the iPhone 11 Pro series. There is a possibility that we will get to see only 11 inch variant in the first half of 2020 and the 12.9 inch version will be launched in September as usual.
