Huawei is China’s largest smartphone manufacturer and a leader in technology and innovation. The company has been witnessing a tremendous growth prior to the decision. It was all set to take over Samsung as the biggest smartphone seller but now it seems unlikely has Google has cut ties with it.

Huawei is losing its licensing agreement with Google for the provision of Google Play Services and access to the Google Play Store on new Huawei Android devices. While the existing customers will not have any difficulties in using their smartphones but they will not have any Android update from now on.

Huawei has officially responded to the situation and claims that their current phones would continue to work, and have access to Google’s Play Store to buy apps.
