Honor is all set to launch a new line up of smart TVs at Huawei Developers Conference 2019 on 10th of August. The product has been named Honor Smart Screen. The company has officially revealed that it has received 100,000 Pre Orders for the upcoming TVs.  The Honor Smart Screen is will come in two variants Standard and Pro. Both smart screens will feature a 55 inch display panel.

Honghu 818 will be working under the hood to provide picture and sound quality. The new chipset will support HDR as well as super-resolution, noise-reduction, dynamic contrast improvement, automatic color management and motion estimation motion compensation technologies to offer a high-end video experience. The Honor smart screen also features a pop up camera which is likely to be used to capture pictures and make video calls.

The Honor Smart Screens will Run Huawei's own Harmony OS which Huawei has developed as an alternate for Android. The OS will support a wide range of app languages, including Android, Linux and HTML5. The OS will currently be available for Smart Screens only as Huawei continues to use Android. Huawei claims that the 55-inch Honor Smart Screen will be more than a regular TV with a variety of Innovative options aimed to revolutionize the TV industry.
