Key specifications of much awaited Realme 5 has been revealed after the phone appeared on Geekbench listing ahead of its 20th August official launch. Realme is expected to announce two smartphones bearing Realme 5 moniker, the standard Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Realme 5 smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 665 SoC, which is a 2.0Ghz octa-core chipset that is based on a 11nm process. The chipset will be paired with 4GB of RAM and it will run on Android 9 Pie with Color OS 6 on top.
According to the leaked information and rumors, Realme 5 will come with an HD+ display, while the Quad camera setup of the phone will comprise of a 16MP primary camera, an ultra wide-angle camera, a 4cm macro lens and a depth sensor.
On the other hand, the Realme 5 Pro will be a more powerful device compared to its standard variant. It may get Snapdragon 710 chipset and will sport Quad camera setup comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX596 main camera, an ultra wide-angle lens, 4cm macro lens and a depth sensor.
The standard Realme 5 is expected to come with a water drop notch to house the front camera while Realme 5 Pro may feature a pop up selfie camera module and an in display fingerprint scanner. Moreover, Realme has confirmed that they are going to launch another smartphone sporting the quad camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor that could be named Realme X Pro.
