Lenovo K8 Note successor may launch this month. As the Chinese consumer electronics giant has thrown media invites for a launch event that is planned for October 16th. While the welcome does not reveals the name of the smartphone that will be launched at the event, it only says The Killer Returns.
Lenovo has not launched many new smartphones this year. The only smartphones it has announced so far in 2018 are the Z5, K5 Note, K5, K5 Play, S5, and A5. If Lenovo plans to launch an existing model from its 2018 portfolio, the only two possible candidates in our opinion would be the new Lenovo Z5 or the Lenovo K8 Note successor.
To recall, the Lenovo K8 Note features a 5.50 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by 1.4GHz processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. In terms of camera, there is a 13MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
While the Lenovo Z5 sports a 6.2 inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. In the camera department, there is a dual rear camera setup comprising of 16MP primary sensor + an 8MP secondary sensor. For selfies, theres an 8MP snapper. The phone is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.
We will have more information on the matter in coming few days, so stay in connected.
