There was a time when Samsung was criticized for including small batteries, even in their flagship segment smartphones. Now, the company has realised that the users demand large batteries and it seems like the Korean giant is going big on batteries this year. Not only just in their Flagship lineups, entry level and mid-range devices are also getting a battery bump this time around.
We have been hearing rumours about the Galaxy A31's large battery capacities. It was reported that the battery capacity in Galaxy A31 will be considerably greater than the Galaxy A30. Now, a live photo of Samsung Galaxy A31's battery has appeared online which shows a huge 5,000mAh battery, a whopping 1,000mAh more than the Galaxy A30.
The rumour of a bigger battery in Galaxy A31 has now been confirmed after the Live image of it's 5000mAh battery appeared on the SafetyKorea certification website. Galaxy A31 is a mid-range smartphone and a battery of this much capacity can last up to two days on a device with mid-range specifications.
Other confirmed specifications of Samsung Galaxy A31 includes a triple rear camera setup consisting of 48MP primary rear camera, a 5MP secondary camera accompanied with a macro lens, two memory variants with 64GB and 128GB storage options, as well as Android 10 OS probably with Samsung's OneUI on top. The official launch date of Galaxy A31 has not been announced by the company yet.
Samsung is right now busy in preparing for launch of its Flagship Galaxy S20 series. So we can expect to see Galaxy A31 seeing the light of the day some time in the end of March or beginning of April. Samsung is keen to recapture the mid-range and budget smartphone market by flooding a variety of devices in this segment this year.
