Chinese technology giant Meizu is preparing to introduce a new flagship phone. Some of the features of the device called Meizu 16s were teased by the company's founder. Now the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench listing with the code name alps m1971.
Meizu 16s smartphone is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. It is expected that the phone will enter mass production at the end of March and is expected to be officially launched in April this year.
New images of the smartphone has also been spotted on the internet, the device looks very much similar to the Meizu 16 but this time showing slimmer bezels. While the camera placement is also different from what we have seen on the previous leaks. The new images of the Meizu 16s show that the device will be sporting a glass back. While the vertical dual camera setup and ring flash will be placed on the top left corner of its back panel.
The Meizu 16s will come with a 6.2 inch Full HD + display and 6 GB RAM. It will also feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is also suggested that the smartphone will include a 3,600mAh battery. While the starting price of the device will be 3,000 yuan (Approx Rs. 62,000 in PKR).
