Senior Vice President of Android teases Google Pixel 3a

Google SVP of Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Play, Comms and Photos, Hiroshi Lockheimer has Tweeted out a hint that he had taken a photos with an unreleased phone and told that the release is close. Although it is not yet confirmed, but Google is in the final stages of launching the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.

Lockheimer’s tweet indicates that the Android executive is using the device in his daily routine, meaning that the official launch could be around the corner because Google’s employees are not famous for leaking such stuff until the last minute before the release of a device.

Rumors suggests that the regular Pixel 3a boasts a 5.6 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2,200 x 1,080. The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the back is an 12MP shooter, while on the front there is going to be an 8MP wide angle selfie camera.

The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL could be announced during Google's next event, Google I/O 2019. It will be held on May 7 to 9 in Mountain View, California, near Google's global headquarters. Both handsets will probably go on sale shortly after the official announcement.
