HMD Global is trying hard to regain the market it lost when Nokia was under Microsoft's umbrella. They are coming up with creative and innovative ideas such as redesigning Nokia Classic phones to fit in today's world and incorporating latest technological breakthroughs in their Android Smartphones. There was a phone from Nokia called Nokia Pureview, which had the best mobile phone camera back then, and after the company's revival it introduced Nokia 9 Pureview with Android and impressive camera specs but it didn't achieve the level of the original Nokia Pureview.
Now, HMD Global is going to introduce another smartphone in their Pureview series. The name of the device is not yet announced by the company and people are calling it Nokia 9.2 5G, Nokia 9.2 Pureview and even Nokia 10. One thing which is for sure is that the smartphone will come equipped with a phenomenal Camera that will satisfy the buds of photography fans. The camera centric Nokia smartphone was originally set to be unveiled at MWC Barcelona 2020 later in February. But GSMA cancelled the event due to the ongoing Coronavirus threat.
Nokia 9.2 Pureview is reported to arrive with a Full view display and will have minimal bezels. It will be built around an Aluminum frame and will sport a glass back as well. It will have a Multi-Lens camera module with Zeiss optics. Several leaked renders show up to 5 and even 6 camera sensors placed in a circular array along with an LED flash. On the front, the device will sport a 32MP camera for selfies.
In terms of display, the smartphone gets a PureDisplay 5.99 inch QHD+ pOLED panel protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and will feature an under display fingerprint scanner. Nokia 9.2 Pureview will be powered by the Qualcomm® aptX™ processor paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. It will run Android 10 OS out of the box and will support 5G connectivity as well. The Nokia smartphone will be fuelled by a 3500mAh battery with Qi wireless charging.
As the original launch of the device slated to take place at the MWC 2020 was cancelled, HMD Global has decided to lift the curtains off the device soon in the first quarter of this year. If rumours are to be believed, Nokia 9.2 Pureview will be priced at $799 for the 6GB RAM variant that converts roughly in to Rs. 123,000 in Pakistani Currency.
