After tracking the OnePlus 7 rumours and leaks for a while now it looks like the wait for an official release will soon be over. As a reputable source has just confirmed an exact date of when the OnePlus 7 will come out. According to the source, on May 14 the global launch date for OnePlus 7 and its ‘Pro’ version will take place.
OnePlus usually launches its flagship smartphone sometime around May and an upgraded version in the later half of the year. But this time the Chinese company will be taking a different approach by launching the ‘Pro’ variant of OnePlus 7 along with it. A post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo shows the alleged device sporting a dual edged display similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 flagship devices. The display has no notch or hole in display just like the leaked OnePlus 7 renders, that leads us to speculate that this one will also come with a pop up selfie camera.
OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a 6.67 inch Super Optic display. It will be powered by an Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primare sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP depth sensor.
While the OnePlus 7 is expected to feature a 6.5 inch full HD+ Optic AMOLED display with the base model having at least 6GB of RAM. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 855 processor and it could have a large 4,000mAh battery with Android 9 Pie as a base for OxygenOS.
