OPPO and Vivo has been continuously working on bringing forward new and innovative upgrades to their devices. Now the company has done it again by announcing Dual WiFi acceleration technology for their upcoming smartphones.
As the name suggests, the users will be able to connect two WiFi networks at the same time. The feature will improve browsing and will boost download speeds by upto 322%. It will allow users to establish a more stable connection for gaming purposes. The ColorOS official Weibo page posted a 40 second video to show off the technology.
The video shows OPPO Reno 10x zoom demonstrating the Dual WiFi technology as they installs the Dual WiFi network acceleration firmware package on the device. While in the video posted by Vivo, it says that the dual WiFi feature will reduce latency for gaming and web page loading. And the difference is noticeable on the device shown in the video with dual-WiFi enabled.
