Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has recently announced that its much appreciated Reno series is going to renew with Reno 3 series next month. The Reno 3 series will debut with Dual Mode 5G technology. Month ahead of official launch, the Vice President of OPPO and President of Global Marketing Brian Shen has shared a teaser image of OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G.
The smartphone can be seen featuring an astonishing curved display and very thin bezels. The OPPO executive Brian Shen has mentioned that the device will be extremely sleek and thin at just 7.7mm. It is going to be the thinnest smartphone in its segment that features Dual Mode 5G Support.
The teaser image shared by Brian shows only half of the device highlighting its extremely thin bezels and the curved display. The tweet mentions that the smartphone will have a glass body while a metallic lining can be seen running around the edges which points towards a metallic frame.
The power button can also be seen in the teaser image, it is placed on the right and have a thin line that appears to house an LED which might serve as a notification light. The front camera is not visible in the teaser image which leads us to the profound realization that it may sport a motorized pop up selfie camera.
The company has not revealed any official specifications about the hardware, but according to the leaks and specifications, the OPPO Reno 3 is tipped to feature a 6.5 inch Full HD+ screen with 1080 x 2400 Pixels Resolution Amoled Display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel will be protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and will feature an in display fingerprint scanner.
The OPPO Reno 3 is reported to be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC, which suggests that Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G might come with an even more powerful SoC. The upcoming OPPO smartphone is rumoured to run ColorOS 7 and will offer dual-mode (SA+NSA) 5G support.
Oppo Reno 3 series will reportedly pack quad rear camera setup that will feature a 60MP primary camera, assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP macro camera. While on the front, there will be a 32MP camera for selfies.
