OPPO Teases Ultra Curved "Waterfall" Screen With Display Extending All around The Sides

OPPO and Vivo recently introduced their all screen smartphones with no notch and bezels. Now Chinese Smartphone Maker OPPO is stepping had and teased images of what its calling "Waterfall" Display, which is basically an ultra curved screen that extends all around the sides. An aggressive 88-degree fold can be seen on both sides of the prototype device.

This is not the first time OPPO is developing curved edge display, OPPO launched the premium Find X that boasts Curved edges display. But this time it is going ahead a step further, because a curve to this extent has not been presented by other smartphone manufacturers yet. The device shown in the teased images looks premium while the bezels are not visible from the front.

The sides of the phone does not seem to have any space where the volume rockers and power button can be placed, so now hardware buttons suggests that they might be touch sensitive on the extra screen of the edges. The name, specs, release date and price of the smartphone with fully wrapped around the sides display has not been revealed by the company yet.
