Qualcomm's upcoming 7nm Snapdragon 8150 SoC, reportedly outperforms Apple's A12 Bionic A12 and Huawei's Kirin 980 in leaked Antutu benchmark test score. The chip scored a whopping 362,292 overall points smashing the Kirin 980 (273,913) by large and overtaking the Apple's A12 Bionic (353,210) by a decent margin.
Over a popular microblogging site in China, a user posted an image that supposedly shows the AnTuTu benchmark results of a Snapdragon 8150. If the leaked information is to be believed, the upcoming Qualcomm SoCs purported overall AnTuTu benchmark 7 score will be higher than that of the Apple A12 Bionic chipset.
the leaked AnTuTu benchmark indicates that the Snapdragon 8150 could score 122,141 points for CPU performance, and 156,328 points for GPU performance. The UX performance is mentioned at 73,905 points, while the MEM performance is listed as 9,918 points. Compared with the Snapdragon 845 processor, the Snapdragon 8150 could offer nearly 32% higher CPU performance and around 22% better GPU performance, suggests the benchmarks. Overall, the Snapdragon 8150 is likely to offer close to 23% performance improvement.
Snapdragon 8150 is also rumoured to be manufacture by the newest 7nm process by TSMC and its size is expected to be 12.4 x 12.4mm. It is said to compete with other similar chipsets such as the A12 Bionic and Kirin 980. There also is a possibility for the score of Snapdragon 8150 to even boost further after and if the manufacturers optimise it.
