The next smartphone in realme 6 series, realme 6i is all set to launch in Myanmar on March 17. The budget oriented Smartphone will be the cheapest among other realme 6 series devices. The toned down version in realme 6 family will come with a water drop notch, powerful processor, quad rear camera setup and a large battery. The latest teasers shared by realme Myanmar reveal some of the core specifications of the Smartphone.
OPPO sub brand claims that the realme 6i is going to be the first smartphone to get a MediaTek Helio G80 processor. Helio G80 is the upgraded version of Mediatek Helio G70 which powered realme C3 Smartphone. The G80 has two Cortex-A75 cores with a clock speed at to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz. The details about internal storage and RAM of the device are still unknown, but it is expected to come with at least 4GB of RAM.
The 6i will pack a Quad Rear Camera Setup on the back, the main sensor being a 48MP shooter while specs of the rest of the sensors are yet to be unveiled. For selfies and video calling, Realme 6i will come equipped with a 16MP front camera placed inside the WaterDrop notch. The Smartphone will be launched with Android 10 OS with Realme's own UI skin on top.
Realme confirms that the 6i will be fuelled by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support which is claimed to charge the cell 38% faster than the 10W charging. The phone will feature a Rear Mounted Fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type C Port. The pricing and availability of Realme 6i will be revealed by the company in the official launch.
