The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphone has been a topic of interest among smartphone fanatics for quite some time, especially after the launch of Galaxy S10 Lineup. Now the Galaxy Note 10 has again made it to the headlines in Korean publishing ETNews, which claims it would be Samsung’s first phone with a “keyless” or “buttonless” design.
According to the reports, it will ditch the power button, volume rockers, and even the Bixby button. All the buttons will be replaced by some sort of touch or gesture based options, though details about what sort of gestures or alternative to the buttons are going to be incorporated in the device is not clear at this point.
Samsung has also filed patents for technologies that could be used in place of buttons, such as squeezing the sides of the device which will be a major breakthrough if Samsung achieves it in the upcoming Galaxy Note. Sources claim that Samsung will apply the same “keyless technology” to low and mid range smartphones, such as the Galaxy A series.
While another report from a Korean publishing giant, The Korea Herald, claims that Samsung will stick with the August release date for the Galaxy Note 10 so the phone will probably hit the shelves in late August or early September this year. Its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 9 was also launched on 9th of August, 2018.
