As it became known that Samsung has registered the trademark Infinity V Display in South Korea. It is this marketing name that the South Korean giant will most likely choose for the bending screen of the upcoming revolutionary smartphone Samsung Galaxy F.
While, no other technical details about the screen itself has been revealed yet. Earlier it was reported that the display of a flexible Samsung smartphone in the unfolded state will have a diagonal of 7.3 inches, which will allow to use the device as a tablet. At the same time to work with the device in the folded state, there is another additional screen with a diagonal of 4.6 inches outside. It was also reported that Samsung does not use Gorilla Glass as a protective coating for the flexible screen of its smartphone, but a kind of transparent polyimide developed by Japanese company Sumitomo Chemical.
The first official details about the smartphone Samsung Galaxy F we will be revealed in a announcement expected at the upcoming Samsung Developer Conference event, which will be held in San Francisco on November 7 or 8. But the latest reports indicates that the smartphone itself will not even be shown in the form of a prototype at this event, only images and promotional videos will be shown. The fact is final design of the device is supposedly not yet finally approved. Presumably, a full announcement of the Samsung Galaxy F may take place at the beginning of the year at CES 2019.
