Samsung's next flagship smartphone Galaxy S11 is a month away from official launch but speculations and leaks are breaking out and revealing bits of the devices to form a complete picture for the people to have an idea what Samsung has got for its Galaxy S lineup fans this time around.
According to the latest reports, a leaked HTML 5 browser test reveals that a device with the codename of SM-G416U has a resolution of 384 x 854 px which translates into a 20:9 aspect ratio. SM-G416U is a placeholder name that Samsung uses when testing the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S11 is going to be a major release in flagship Android smartphone market in 2020. Samsung's current flagship smartphones features a 19:9 aspect ratio. While Samsung is moving to increase the aspect ratio of the upcoming Galaxy S11 it is expected that it will make the device narrower than the current S10+ and may also have slimmer bezels.
Samsung hasn't released a flagship phone with a 20:9 display yet but it has launched four other phones with the same aspect ratio. The South Koren giant's mid-range Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A90 5G, and Galaxy A80 all feature 20:9 displays. It will be interesting to see what other features Samsung Galaxy S11 lineup comes with.
