Essential Products CEO Andy Rubin has stunned the people with a series of surprising tweets in which he teased the successor to their earlier Essential Phone. The tweets includes several images and a video of the upcoming Android Essential Phone.
The upcoming Essential Phone is a long and slender phone with a width as half of what we see in the standard Android Phones. It looks more like a touch screen remote control then a phone. The handset has been shown in a wide range of glossy colors.
The device from the front is somewhat different due to its half width size. It has a hole punch selfie camera, minimal bezels and an extra tall thinner display. The maker touts in the tweets that the device runs a Unique UI that doesn't look like any version of Android.
It has been more than two years since the launch of first Essential Phone. It was well received by critics but public was shy to buy it that's why they had to cut the price twice in order to increase sales. The Essential Phone was released with a price tag of $699 and then they reduced it to $499.
The Essential Phone was the first Android device that was introduced with a notch, no headphone jack and a modular magnetic system. Currently, no information about the specs, release date and the price of the upcoming Essential Phone is available. But we can expect an official announcement from the makers soon.
